Mansfield – Two Day Trip for Outdoor Adventure Lovers

Tour the Victorian Alps and visit historic Mansfield.  The population was under 5,000 residents on the 2011 census.  This small town at the foothills of the Victorian Alps was once dependent on the logging and farming industries but now the main industry is tourism.  Mansfield is the main support town for the famous Australian ski resort Mount Buller.

Mansfield had its fifteen minutes of fame when the movie The Man from Snowy River was released.  The movie was filmed in and around Mansfield and features the tradition of alpine grazing of the high country.

Sit back and enjoy a peaceful journey to a beautiful part of the Great Dividing Range.  Our minibus tours into the mountains have large windows and low backed seats so your view is unobstructed.  Many of our drivers have spent many years driving and are full of interesting stories.  Activities for outdoor lovers abound in both hot and cold months.  Remember when booking our tours we also have trailers available for equipment like ski’s, snowboards, bicycles, kayaks, and more.  Let us know if you have any equipment you need transported with your group and we will make sure to provide an appropriate coach with racks, storage, or trailer based on your specific needs.
