It’s a great chance to witness a themed selection of country’s ex-military flying history in a close action. Bathurst Winter Festival

Held over a period of first two weeks in July, the Bathurst Winter Festival embraces the distinct seasonality of the region and rejoicing the cultural heritage of the oldest European settlement in Australia. The festival will be a showcase of family friendliness, creativity and vibrancy of the region with illuminated heritage buildings and twilight markets. Outdoor Leisure Show – Lismore

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the 2017 Outdoor Leisure Show is schedule from 7th to 9th of July at the Lismore Showgrounds, with an invitation from Westpac Life Saver Rescue. Whether you are a young adventure looking for latest gear or family looking to buy camper trailer, this event is for one and all. Exhibitors include mountain bikes, rock climbing, trekking, motor bikes, slide on campers, camper trailers, 5th wheelers, motorhomes, caravans and 4WD. The event also includes puppet shows, jumping castles, roving entertainment, Base Zero Climbing Wall, Flair Riders Motor Bike and BMX show and a 4WD experience in the Show Ring.

The Entrance Winter Blues and Jazz Festival

Some of the well renowned Australian artists will be performing on the 9th of July for a free live Blues and Jazz entertainment in the Memorial Park, along the Entrance on the Central Coast. The ambiance is going to be extremely soothing by the water’s edge, and people are expected to come in numbers. An exceptional line-up of artists will be performing the entire day, with great family friendly entertainment opportunities on offer.

Winter Orchid Show – Berry

Flower growers from all across the Berry region will be demonstrating a spectacular display of flowering orchids from 15th to 17th of July at the Annual Winter Orchid Show for the Shoalhaven Orchid Society. A wide variety of orchids will be in full bloom including slipper orchids, native orchids and Cymbidiums. You can interact with the society members to know more about the growing orchid, or buy yourself some orchids put on sale at reasonable prices. It’s not just about the collection, but the eclectic variety maintained by the growers.

Queen: It’s Kinda Magic

There are a few things in world that stay forever even after their demise. Freddie Mercury and his legendary band: Queen will be all fresh again this July at the premiere Queen tribute show: It’s Kinda Magic. Everything from the lighting cues to the costumes and instruments, the show will be an exact replica of the ones witnessed in real concerts. This fascinatingly authentic event is the close consultation of Freddie’s best friend, Peter Freestone. The show recreates the 1986 concert with some of the greatest hits performed that are sure to impress the audience.

Kiama Coastal Classic Running Festival

Scheduled to be held right in the heart of the running season on the 23rd of July, the Kiama Coastal Classic Running Festival is a family-friendly event for runners of all ages and abilities. Each section of the track will keep walkers, joggers and runner mesmerised, soaking in the South coast, including Kiama and Werri beaches, along with rugged coastline and rolling green hills. The festival has three race courses including 2.5kms and 10km leading up to 14-km Kiama Coastal Classic. The tracks go past the iconic Kiama Blowhole, with finishing line at the Black Beach Reserve.

International Opal Jewellery Design Awards – Lightning Ridge

Known to be one of the most esteemed jewellery design competitions across the globe, this biennial event will take place on the 27th of July. Awards are presented during the International Gala awards dinner, and are organised by International Opal Jewellery Design Awards Association. It was initially formed to endorse undulating or free-from surface opals in beautiful jewellery. This is a must-visit event for the ladies out there!

Albury Wodonga Eisteddfod – Albury Wodonga

The Albury Wodonga Eisteddfod is a major cultural event featuring exhibitions and competitions of Drama, speech, music, Highland dance, debating and dance. It will be held over three weeks starting 27th of July, with all disciplines being held at the Albury Entertainment Centre right in the core of Albury. Every year, a number of talented competitors take to stage to display their talent and receive critique from judges. As a performer, you can gain confidence and experience, in addition to an opportunity to grab prizes and scholarships. Nowra Chilli and Chocolate Festival – Nowra

This one-day festival on the 30th of July will be all about promoting and selling chocolate and chilli products in a relaxed family ambiance. Variety of exhibitors will put their item on display along with live entertainment, chilli eating competition and cooking demonstration.
