The Lakefest, due to be held from 17th to 26th of February, is a unique celebration of maritime history and aquatic lifestyle of Lake Macquarie. The regatta involves skiffs, dinghies and sailing yachts cruising past the Lake Macquarie for up to 24 hours. This event is a fundraiser for the Cancer Council New South Wales, and it will include social activities such as Junior Pirate Fun Race, Paddlefest and a Twilight Race, along with other water-based and sailing events.

Condobolin Picnic Races

Certainly one of the top country picnic race meetings in the Central West, Condobolin Picnic Races is where one can enjoy the best of country hospitality.  The race comprises of a 6-match program, with over 8000 Australian dollars to be won for Condobolin Cup.
