Running throughout the month of February, the National Sustainable Living Festival is a free event with an objective to raise awareness about social and ecological challenges. Grampians Music Festival
The 2nd annual Grampians Music Festival will be held from 2nd to 4th of February, with as many as 20 amazing acts lined up for the event. The supremely talented artists will give a taste of all sorts, including soulful synthesisers, indie pop-rock, brash blues and soul, and folk dandy. Apart from cocktails, beer and wine, there will be plenty of food options, such as wood-fired pizza, pulled meats and gozleme. Hungarian Goulash Festival & Book Fair
Due to be held on the 4th of February, the Goulash Festival is based around a traditional food, the Goulash soup. A number of teams will be competing against each other, and you can sample their dishes as a visitor. It is quite a popular delicacy among the herdsmen in Hungary, and is made from beef cooked with lots of paprika, green pepper, tomatoes and onions. Apart from this ethnic soup, you can also taste some traditional Hungarian foods served in style, while enjoying Hungarian dance, as well as book fair. Geelong Heritage Wine Walk
Some of the finest wineries in Victoria will be showcasing their exceptional wines at the Geelong Heritage Wine Walk on the 10th of February. This fundraising event will extend support to Pink Hope, an organisation for women with an increased risk of ovarian and breast cancer. There will be raffle draw and exciting prizes to be won, along with some live entertainment on offer. Kids can also indulge actively in face painting and jumping castle, along with reflexology, massage and sausage sizzle. Eltham Jazz, Food and Wine Festival
Taking place on the weekend of 24th and 25th of February, this fun festival will attract an entertaining musical line-up of blues, swing and jazz artists. There will be three main stages for the show, with a variety of local gourmet food and drinks available from stallholders, as well as restaurants, bars and cafes in the area.
