When and what time: 27 November to 25 December 2014. Opening hours are 830pm to 1am.

When the sun starts to set, observe in wonder as Sydney Town Hall’s front brightens up with striking light projections. As part of an improved Christmas 2014 program, digital projections are also slated for display on certain buildings between King Street and Pitt Street Mall.

Alexandria

Where: Alexandria, Power Avenue and Alexandria Park Oval

When and what time: 6 December 2014, Saturday. From 630pm to 830pm

Spice up your Christmas celebrations with a touch of Rock n’ Roll! Other than live music performances, parents would be delighted to know that are other activities installed for their kids. There are craft activities, fireworks display, children’s entertainment and a surprise visit from Santa! The concert will be hosted by James Tobin and musical acts include The Drey Rollan Band, Lah-Lah’s BIG Live Band as well as Christmas carols from The Accapelicans. By the way, don’t forget to buy one of their Santa stockings – each stocking is packed with a set of goodies and they are for a good cause. All proceeds go to Australian Children’s Music Foundation.

Christmas at Sydney Town Hall

When and what time: 16 December 2014, Tuesday. From 8 to 930pm

Families who attend this year’s Sydney Town Hall concert will surely get into the Christmas spirit without fail. The concert is coupled with gorgeous sandstone surroundings as well as a Grand Organ, and the combination of these elements goes into the making of a memorable night when the festive music starts to play.
