The Cremona and The Mantua Madrigals will be performed on consecutive evenings. Both these performances have been met with wide commercial and critical acclaim. Les Arts Florissants, founded in 1979, has played a revolutionary role in the restoration of a Baroque collection.

The Australian Ballet Presents Faster

Faster is a contemporary ballet at its primitive best; a heart-pounding stuff from some of the best modern choreographers. Organized by the Australian Ballet, Faster is coming to Sydney Opera House for a limited season starting 7th of April. Experience the exhilarating physical power of ballet as you witness the super-charged world of elite sports. Against a driving score by Matthew Hindson, dancers show off their astonishing athleticism. The event also features a world premiere from Glory, Tim Harbour and Squander, a dynamic project about the human energy system.

Eastwood Night Markets

Saturday nights are going to be more fun with the Eastwood Night Markets, coming back for another season with plenty of food stalls and entertainment.  The vibrant lights will augment the festive atmosphere of this busy market as food stalls serve everything from Japanese-style treats and Turkish delights to pop cakes and noodles. Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience

This April, the city of Sydney has organized a special event for the anniversary of ANZAC’s heading into First World War. An interactive and captivating exhibition will take place at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre from 15th to 27th of April. The organizers have done hard work in touring across Australia to educate the visitors about their own history. Ironfest Lithgow 2017

Calling all steam punkers, jesters, knights and maidens, the Lithgow Ironfest returns for an exciting weekend of medieval-style celebration with cosplay and steampunk. The 3-day event from 21st to 23rd of April at the Lithgow showground will witness weapon demonstrations, jousting, archery, leather making and ironwork.  Kids can indulge is cosplay competition and also enjoy practicing archery range where they can test their skills by shooting at various foam targets. Some pro-wrestling, blacksmiths and armoury will be accompanied with exceptional selection of food. Market stalls will sell an array of goods including handmade crafts, clothes, jewellery, military attire and books.

Sydney Comedy Festival

As a part of 13th annual Sydney Comedy Festival, the premier comedy event, the Festival Gala returns on 24th of April, with a laughter extravaganza following some popular comedy acts on a single day.
